Application
(1) Dimethyl Disulfide is used as solvent, intermediate of pesticides.

(2) In Oil refining industry, Dimethyl Disulfide is widely used as activator in preliminary vulcanization procedue of catalyzersused in certain products(including naphtha, gasoline, kerosine, diesel oil) hydrodesul furizalion droforming and hydrocracking process.

(3) In agricultural chemistry, Dimethyl Disulfide is used to prepare Fenthion.
