Slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ether, toxic and has anesthetic and stimulating effects.

Storage should be placed in a dry and cool place, and the warehouse should have ventilation facilities to avoid contact with high concentrations of oxygen or oxides, and avoid contact with moisture to prevent hydrolysis.
